Unlike the picture, the sign does not extend past the cross (and it doesn't have that banner appearance), and the corpus appears smaller and less detail with the arms and legs not extending as far. This crucifix looks more like this product Sterling Silver "Two-Tone" Crucifix Cross Pendant with Crystal, 18" without the crystals (instead it would be blank space on the cross). It's not a bad crucifix, especially for a child (whom we purchased it for). It just looks plainer than the photo reveals. Overall, we are happy with the purchase, since the child is as well. I just thought I was getting something a little more detailed.
